At the Rockabilly Rumble show in 2024, we were all entertained by this guy who took his ’29 Ford (with top down) to the drag strip and raced all challengers. We were so impressed, in fact, that we made a t-shirt inspired by him! This year, we were able to meet Mike, the man behind the legend! He’s as good a person as he is a driver, he even helped us out when one of our members (Stu) wouldn’t start. We hope to see him back out on the track next year!
We saw Steve & Tammy’s Caddy at the 2025 Rockabilly Rumble in Summerduck, it won the “Big Pimpin’” award. It was one of our favorite rides at the show and they were equally great people to meet. Their car features a stock drivetrain, 390 motor, and pinstripping by Micheal Hall.
It all started as a conversation of a few brews. We figured if we liked taking our classic cars out for some good times, maybe others would to.
Some people might say getting your hands greasy and sandy don’t mix, we say those people haven’t yet lived. We mix these two favorite things of ours into a club and style of our own.
